The case for three

Long lists are how things stop happening.

Most days hold three real priorities. Everything beyond that is noise pretending to be progress. DailyInThree gives you exactly three slots — and a quiet way to keep them.

~30s to plan the day

How it works

A morning ritual, in three steps.

  1. 01

    Open the app

A blank Today screen waits for you. No streaks, no overdue counter, no red badges trying to start your day for you.

  2. 02

    Speak your three

Tap the mic and say the three things that matter today. We parse them into clear, separate tasks — no typing needed.

  3. 03

    Close the day

Check them off as you go. At sunset, DailyInThree archives the day and resets. Tomorrow is a clean slate.

What's inside

Small app. Quiet defaults.

Voice first

Speak naturally. The app turns "gym, call mom, finish the deck" into three tasks, in order.

One reset a day

At local sunset the Today screen clears. You start fresh tomorrow — no carryover guilt.

Quiet archive

Every closed day is kept. Scroll back and see, honestly, what your weeks were made of.

On-device

Tasks live on your phone. No account, no cloud, no analytics. Backups stay in your iCloud.

No notifications

The app never pings you. You open it because you choose to — once in the morning, once at night.

One gesture, done

Swipe a task to close it. Long press to edit. That's the whole interaction model.

"I stopped writing twenty-item lists I'd never finish. Three is enough. Three is the day."

FAQ

Questions, briefly answered.

What if I have more than three things?
Write them down somewhere else. DailyInThree is a focus tool, not a full task manager — and that's on purpose.
Can I carry tasks over to tomorrow?
No. If something matters tomorrow, you'll say it again tomorrow. The reset is the point.
Does it sync between devices?
iCloud backup keeps your archive safe across your devices. There is no separate account or server.
How much does it cost?
Free, with an optional one-time tip if you want to support development.

Three things.
Starting tomorrow morning.

DailyInThree is free on the App Store. Two minutes to set up, the rest of your life to use.
